The famous medical organisation the PSG Institute of Medical Sciences was established in 1985. Admission Eligibility
By December 31 of the entrance year, applicants to this college must be 17 years old. Students must have at least a 50 percent grade in science, including physics, chemistry, biology, or biotechnology (for SC/ST students, a 40 percent grade in board exams, and a 45 percent grade for OBC students). The National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) is also required of all students.

Admission Eligibility
