The college's website is being created with the intention of informing visitors about the institution's past achievements and its future goals to expand medical education and healthcare services. This medical college, which is affiliated with Chennai's Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University, has received authorization from the National Medical Committee (NMC).

Infrastructure

Coimbatore, a charming city in Tamil Nadu, is home to Coimbatore Medical College. At the base of College Hill, on the southern outskirts of Vellore city, lies a 200-acre forest tract known as the Medical College Campus. The Medical College has a G+2 floor plan and is a two-story building. The institution, which began operations in 1966, underwent a number of alterations to accommodate the current design. The Coimbatore Government Medical College features individual academic buildings for each of its departments. The lecture halls can accommodate more than 150 students and are furnished with comfortable chairs, a microphone area, a UPS, an LCD projector, an OHP projector, a slide projector, and other modern equipment. Parallel to the private hall's construction is the public hall. More than 750 students may be accommodated in the room. The breathtaking environment and light effect of the already "eye-catching" hall are enhanced by the lovely grass and other plants in the front. Coimbatore Medical College has two exam rooms, both of which are equipped with enough facilities to provide students with a relaxing environment in which to take exams. The university has 30 departments, each with well-designed and equipped laboratories. Each is controlled by individuals who have completed considerable training and has its own unique value as well as strong technological traits.
